Mama gets ready for Aunt Ora and John Dean's Sunday afternoon visit.

Aunt Mary celebrated a birthday and lots of people came to honor her!

Mama got some fresh new clothes just in time for Spring and Mother's Day!

Janice participated in "Arts in the Garden" at Skyland Trail on Friday, May 11; she sold calligraphy an stationery at her very own booth. In addition, Janice displayed one of her works of art, "Flowers in a teapot" at the art show. It was not for sale. After the show, we took the money she earned and went to Pearl Arts to buy some more supplies. Later in the day, Janice had fun showing Mama the money that she earned. (See third picture.)

Aunt Ora, Charles and Frances visited Aunt Emma in Albuquerque NM on her 90th birthday. It was an extra special time as we celebrated with her entire family! Aunt Emma looked like a million dollars! You'll see in the pictures how festive the birthday party was at Rebecca's house.

We finally met Katie's husband Dave and almost-3-year old daughter Haley. We also had the joy of meeting Rebecca's husband Tony and their 6-month old daughter Peyton. We picked up our conversations with Katie and Rebecca right where we left them off over 10 years ago! Dave and Tony are good friends from Montgomery and have many adventures in their past!

Because of the snow, Joan stayed in town with us, so we had some good times with her. She took us up to the top of the East Mountain via the Tram, and we saw where she lives on the other side. The views were spectacular and we're already dreaming about visiting again!

Mama celebrated her 82nd birthday with host of relatives! And a friend of Janice's from NurseCare of Buckhead joined us too.

Janice, Charles and Frances spend the day (along with half of Atlanta) at the Yellow Daisy Festival. We enjoyed food and had a blast looking at all the arts and crafts!

Kyle and Carol return to US from the Far East for a couple of weeks and spend an afternoon visiting Mama and showering her with gifts.

Mama, Martin and Frances played Bingo at the nursing home, and Mama won two times and a prize package totalling 50 cents!

Mama and Frances went to Duck Pond. Mama wearing one of the outfits that we got with Aunt Ora's Christmas money. In the last picture, Mama is holding the bag that Marianne sent Frances. It contains all the stuff we need when we're out running errands!

We had fun in Jefferson GA last Saturday. Mama got a perm and then we spent the rest of the afternoon at Martin & Roxy's visiting. Highlight of day was Mama playing croquet! She really got into it! We also had with the kittens and watching Eden play a little baseball! Mama said on her way home that "This was a fun day!"

Mama had a nice time at the duck pond. She was amazed at how close the duck came up to her!

Mama and Shirley battle it out at Solitaire, while Adele longs for a hearty Italian family meal in her native Brooklyn.
