Checkout process
As you shop on the Gallery's website, your orders are collected in a Cart. You can review the orders in the Cart at any time by clicking
at the top of any page.
When you're ready to complete your order, the checkout process automatically takes you through the following steps:
- Select the quantities of Prints and merchandise you want to buy.
- Select the recipients you will send your order to.
- Select the shipping method for each recipient.
- Review your order.
- Let us know how you will pay for your order.

Order quantities and sizes, framing and Cards creation can be adjusted when reviewing the Cart contents.
To change order quantities from the Cart:
- Enter the quantity of each item in the Quantity column.
- To quickly select singles or doubles of all Prints, use the Express Order checkboxes. By checking singles or doubles, you will receive single or double Prints of every Print in your order.
To frame your Prints:
- Click Frame it above each Print that you would like to frame.
- Browse through our wide selection of Frames until you find the frame that best fits your Print.
- Select the Frame.
- Review your Frame selection and click Add to Cart.
To create Cards from your Prints:
- Click Create cards above each Card you would like to create Cards from.
- Browse through our wide selection of Cards until you find the Card that best fits your Print.
- Click the Create card button.
- Create your Card and review it.
- Click Add to Cart.
About Recommended Resolution
Low Resolution Warning
A low resolution warning will appear on any photo that is below the recommended resolution for that size photo slot. You may choose to print Prints and merchandise that contain low-resolution images; however, the Gallery is not responsible for the printed quality of these images and will be unable to refund or reprint your order.
Using photos below this recommended resolution may result in printed images that are fuzzy, washed out or pixelated. Keep in mind that the preview images you see on your computer screen do not accurately reflect the quality of the printed photos.
Here are some sample images that show showing possible distortions that may occur if you use images below the recommended resolution:
To check the resolution of your photos:
- Save your Legacy Photo Book by clicking Save book.
- Click View & Edit Photos.
- Click the album that contains the photo you want to check.
- Click the photo you want to check.
- The resolution will appear in the left menu.

You can preview each Print and make changes from the Cart.
Express Order Settings allow you to make the following changes to your Prints:
- Single or double 4 x 6" and 5 x 7" Prints.
- Glossy or matte paper. Note: 16 x 20" and 20 x 30" Prints and Collages are available only in Matte finish.
- White or sloppy photo borders. Note: Express Borders are only available for Print sizes 4 x 6" and 5 x 7" and cannot be previewed. They are applied when your order is processed. If you choose an Express Border for your Prints, the photos will automatically be zoomed and trimmed to keep the integrity of the Express Border, even if you have turned Zoom & Trim turned off for the order.
- Click Kodak Perfect Touch to see how your Prints will look with or without Kodak Perfect Touch processing. Kodak Perfect Touch processing is applied to all Prints in your order unless you turn it off
- Click Zoom & Trim to see how your Prints will look with Zoom & Trim turned on or off. Zoom & Trim can cause cropping at the edges of your Prints because each digital image is enlarged and cropped slightly to fit your selected Print size. Note: Turning Zoom & Trim off usually causes white borders on two sides of your Prints.
- Go to My Account > Advanced Print Options.
- Select Kodak Perfect Touch Off.
- From the Cart, click the Adjust cropping link under the Print that you want to change.
- Uncheck Kodak Perfect Touch.
- Go to My Account > Advanced Print Options.
- Select Zoom & Trim Off.
To change Zoom & Trim settings for a specific Print in your order:
- From the Cart, click the Adjust cropping link under the Print that you want to change.
- Uncheck Zoom & Trim.
Note: In order to retain the integrity of your photo borders, Zoom & Trim will automatically be applied to your photos when choosing Express Borders.
To adjust Print cropping:- From the Cart, click the Adjust cropping link under the Print that you want to adjust.
- Click the plus and minus symbols to zoom in or out.

- Click the arrows to move the area of the photo that will be printed.

Tip: You must have the latest version of Adobe Flash Player installed to use the zoom and move tools. Download the Player here.
Back to topRemoving items from your order
From the Cart, click the Remove link above the Quantity column for each photo that you want to remove.
To remove all items from the Cart:
- Click the Clear Cart link at the bottom of the page.
- Click Yes to confirm. If you change your mind, click No, leave my Cart alone.
- Click Next to continue.
Selecting shipping recipients
The next step in the checkout process displays the names and addresses of all the people you've sent orders to in the past. Click the box next to the name of each recipient to whom you want to send your new order. You can send each order to as many recipients as you like.
Adding or removing recipients- To add a new recipient to this order, complete the fields under "Enter a new shipping address:" and click "Next".
- To remove a recipient from your address book, click "Remove" under the name and address.
Selecting shipping methods
Once you have selected your shipping address, choose a shipping speed. The Gallery lists only the options that apply to the country you have selected.
Tip: If you choose Overnight or 2-Day shipping, make sure to include a phone number for the shipping address on the Edit shipping address page.
Back to topSending an order to multiple recipients
All Ship to Home and Standard Pickup orders can be sent to multiple recipients.
Note: Same-Day Pickup orders cannot be sent to multiple recipients.
To select multiple recipients from the Cart:- Check next to each recipient (Ship to Home and/or Standard Pickup) that you would like to send your order to.
- Click Next.
- Click Add another recipient if you wish to add additional recipients to your order.
- Click Next.
Note: You can add a personalized touch to each Ship to Home address by including a unique message.
To add new Ship to Home recipients to your order from the Cart:- Click Add a new shipping address.
- Complete the shipping information.
- Click Next.
- Click Add another recipient if you wish to add additional recipients to your order.
- Click Next.
To add new Standard Pickup locations to your order from the Cart:
- Click Search for a Standard Pickup location.
- Enter the search parameters for Standard Pickup locations.
- Click Search.
- Click Pick Up Here under each Standard Pickup location that you would like to send your order to.
- Complete the pickup contact information.
- Click Add another recipient if you wish to add additional recipients to your order.
- Click Next.

Note: The save recipient option is not available when using Kodak EasyShare Software to order Prints online.
Back to topShipping to military bases and U.S. Protectorates
If your order is being shipped to an armed services address, such as APO or FPO, Guam, American Samoa or other U.S. Protectorates, please select the U.S. Postal Service as your shipping option. Expedited delivery is not available for these shipments, as Gallery shipments to these addresses are not considered international.
Packages weighing over 16 ounces sent to military addresses may require additional delivery time due to USPS restrictions.

Each time you order Prints, we enclose an index print with your order. When you send a photo as a gift (framed or unframed), you can include a short personal message on the bottom of the index print. Merchandise without photos does not include index prints.
To include a personal message to each recipient on your list:Once you have selected a shipping speed, enter a personal message in the Optional Message field. (Leave the field blank if you do not want to include a personal message with the shipment.)
Note: This option is not available for Same-Day Pickup orders.
Back to topPicking up your order at a retail store
When you place a Retail Pickup order, we will send you:
An Order Confirmation email once you have placed your order, which will include the Order ID number, an estimated order total and pickup date and time, the pickup store's address and phone number, and the name and phone number of the contact you designated to pick up your order.
An Order Ready email will be sent to you once your order has been printed and is ready for pickup. It will include the Order ID number, the pickup store's address and phone number, and the name and phone number of the contact you designated to pick up your order.
Note: We recommend taking a printout of your Order Ready email with you when picking up your order.
Note: We recommend that you call the store ahead of time to verify the store hours and the availability of your order.

Once you have chosen a shipping speed, you will have an opportunity to review your order before submitting it.
- Verify that your order contents are correct. Click View Order Details to see your order details.
- Verify that the shipping information is correct. Make sure to include a phone number for all Overnight and 2-Day shipping methods.
- To see your order detail, including thumbnails of the Prints you are ordering, click View Order Details.
- If you have a Coupon, Gift Certificate or Prepaid Card, enter the code in the field next to the Validate button.
- When you are ready to place your order on our secure server, click Next.
Coupons, Gift Certificates, Prepaid Cards and credits
If you have a coupon, Gift Certificate or Prepaid Card, enter the code and click the Validate button.
Note: Carefully review the coupon terms and verify that the discount has been applied to your order before you place your order. The Gallery cannot make changes to orders once they have been placed. If your order is eligible for a discount that is not applied, please contact Customer Service before completing your order.
If you have credits associated with your account, which offer a similar discount to a coupon code you entered, the Gallery will automatically apply the discount that expires first. Free Print and shipping credits are automatically subtracted from the total.
Note: Gallery coupons cannot be applied to Same-Day Pickup orders. Please check with the retailer for applicable coupons or discounts that may reduce the price of your order.

Each time you place an order through the Gallery, it is processed through our secure server.
The Gallery accepts credit and debit cards as forms of payment:
Enter your credit card information, including card type, card number (do not include spaces), security code, expiration date and name on card. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
- Enter your credit card billing address.
- When you have verified that all of your credit card and billing address information is correct, click Place Order to complete your order. Credit card verification can take up to 1 minute.
When your order is complete, your order number and shipping information will appear on the Order Confirmation page. Please print this page for your records, as it cannot be bookmarked. We will also send you an order confirmation email.
To reorder the same order and have it send to additional recipients, go to Order History and click Reorder under the order you would like to reorder.
To continue shopping or viewing photos on the Gallery, click Continue.

Your Order History is a complete list of the orders you have placed with the Gallery in the past 365 days. You must have a Gallery account to view your Order History.
Note: If you are a Gallery guest, please click the Order Details link within your Gallery order confirmation email to check the status of your most recent order.
To access your Order History:
- Click My Account.
- Click Order History.
Your Order History will display your:
- Order ID number
- Order Date
- Order Status
- Order Total
- Tracking Number (if you selected a traceable shipping type)
- Film Processing Status (if you submitted film for processing)
To reorder the entire contents of a previous order, click Reorder.
To return an order, click Return Order.
Back to topReordering a previous order
To resend the entire contents of a previous order to yourself or other friends:
- Click My Account > Order History.
- Find the order that you want to reorder by using the View orders from: dropdown menu.
- Click View Details to see all the items in the order.
- Click Reorder.
- The Cart will be filled with the same items you selected in your earlier order. From the Cart, you can change the quantities and sizes of the items in your order, frame your Prints, create Cards and add new recipients prior to checking out.
Secure online transactions
The privacy of your information is very important to us. To ensure the security of your online transaction, the Gallery's payment pages encrypt data using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL). SSL technology, the industry-standard method for protecting web communications, was developed by Netscape Communications Corporation. The SSL security protocol provides data encryption, server authentication and message integrity. Because SSL is built into all major browsers and web servers, this security is automatic.
